SECTION 16 Hard At Work On Sophomore CD

Colorado-based SECTION 16 have finished recording the basic tracks for the first three songs for the follow-up to their debut CD, "Identity Crisis" (DCA Recordings) and "they are sounding great!' according to vocalist Corey Brown. "Vocals will be going on next."

SECTION 16 are recording the album with producer Bill Douglas, who has previously worked with such acts as STATIC-X, STABBING WESTWARD and the SMASHING PUMPKINS. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Rewind", "Traces" and "Metropolitan God". A release date has yet to be announced.

Brown also commented on his other projects, REDEMPTION and MAGNITUDE 9: "I will start vocal tracks for the next REDEMPTION CD sometime later this summer and at the same time writing has started on the next MAGNITUDE 9 CD as well. So it's going to be a busy year for me."

SECTION 16's lineup consists of Brown, bassist Ian Ringler (MAGNITUDE 9, ex-PSYCO DRAMA),guitarist Toby Kinnaman (ex-PSYCO DRAMA),drummer Jeremy Hoffman (ex-JADED SOUL) and former Joe Satriani student Rain Zitro (ex-SOUR PUSS) on guitar.
